Jude 1
1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified
ℵBA ⟨beloved⟩
by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:1 ¶ Judas, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are called, beloved in God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ:
2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
ℵ ⟨multiplied,⟩
2 Mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied.
3 Beloved, when
ℵ ⟨Beloved. When⟩
I gave all diligence to write unto you of theℵBA ⟨our⟩
common salvationℵ ⟨salvation and life⟩
, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.3 ¶ Beloved, while I was giving all diligence to write unto you of our common salvation, I was constrained to write unto you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who

and our Lord Jesus Christ.4 For there are certain men crept in privily, even they who were of old set forth unto this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord
BA ⟨once knew all, how that Jesus⟩; ℵ ⟨knew all, how that the Lord once⟩
, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.5 ¶ Now I desire to put you in remembrance, though ye know all things once for all, how that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
6 And angels which kept not their own principality, but left their proper habitation, he hath kept in everlasting bonds under darkness unto the judgement of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are

of eternal fire.7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, having in like manner with these given themselves over to fornication, and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.
8 Likewise
A ⟨But⟩
also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominionℵ ⟨dominions⟩
, and speak evil of dignities.8 Yet in like manner these also in their dreamings defile the flesh, and set at nought dominion, and rail at dignities.
9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he

rebuke thee.9 But Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing judgement, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
10 But these rail at whatsoever things they know not: and what they understand naturally, like the creatures without reason, in these things are they destroyed.
11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
11 Woe unto them! for they went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah.
12 These are spots

with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of windsℵ ⟨away of every wind⟩; BA ⟨away of winds⟩
; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;12 These are they who are hidden rocks in your love-feasts when they feast with you, shepherds that without fear feed themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
